Wow did I dislike this movie - I mean when hundreds of talented filmmaking professionals come together and spend tens of millions of dollars you would think at least a passable movie. Wrong. Where do I start; - the movie is at least 30-60 minutes too long and far too short on action scences - The aforementioned action scenes, of which the Matrix were a pioneer, were largely horrible and looked like high school art class stuff - The plot was NONSENSE - all the stupid meta jokes about Neo not wanting to make Matrix 4, the repeated "must save trinity" plotline, another generic matrix smart dude, DUMB DUMB DUMB - Repeatedly showing scenes from Matrix 1-3 just made me wish I was watching those far better films - Jada Pinkett Smith returns as the grandma version of her original character only she is NOTHING LIKE THE ORIGINAL NIOBE - Then you shoehorn in younger actors to play iconic roles like Morpheus and Smith that completely miss the mark. I have never looked at my phone more and wished a movie would end more than this.
