The writing was good, however the lengthy buildup and interviews with chapters were boring. Took too long before anything really happened The banter between the two detectives also annoying. Sorry did not enjoy this. I skipped ahead just so I could finish reading it

It started out well. I was hoping to see the change and growth in Johnny. However am disappointed in season 2 the unrealistic portrayal of kids fighting in open spaces with no adults intervening the continued alcohol abuse in Johnny with no consequence to that behavior such showing him driving drunk in many episodes and finally why didn’t Daniel enlist police assistance when his dojo was broken into and destroyed. Very unrealistic portrayal of life was hoping to see more life lessons change and growth in characters
