Good grtief this game was depressing.

Good grief. Why is this allowed to exist?

This fully earned it's 5/10 IMDB score which was in my opinion generous. The concept of kids save the world isn't awful, and is a family treat when done well, but this was not. The 2nd star is for decent visual effects and half decent acting from Saleh, Rob Sheehan and Lucy McDonnell. But the casting team fell asleep at the wheel when casting Sophie (Phoebe da Silva) - everything just felt so over the top and forced and was like the director was having to carry her through her script rather than simply being able to act naturally. A shame as the character seemed well written but spoiled by atrocious casting.

Absolute quality with all the charm the original saw had, rather than the gorefest that came in the following saw movies.
