Jay Scheer – Google

I am on the third book in this series and am very much enjoying them! Would recommend them to anyone. Some of the writing style uses can get frustrating, bit over all are fun stories told by a very good story teller. Ringo gives you snap shots when moving the story along and can use imagination to fill in the blanks. On most there is a deep dive having nice interaction among the characters. To me they are gobble books. Ones that are hard to put down and read fast. The main story is really the following of a family from the start of a world crisis, and following them through it. The one character I feel he does injustice to is the wife. She kind of drops off after the first book. He adds a ton of other characters, not all fully given life, but just drops the wife from the story altogether. Which is a shame for she is quite a interesting one and so much more could have been done with her. Read and enjoy!

Last Voyage of Demeter does have some great sea scape scenes and visually really does well. Acting wise... ehhh. Corey Hawkins to me wasnt strong enough for the lead role. Think a better choice for that role could have been made. Was very predictable in action and really was just awaiting the known ending.Dracula was just shown as a B rated beast. Was looking forward to the movie, but came away wishing for a better drama. Worth seeing visually but the acting was quite flat . Score was great though.

this is a good late night movie to watch when you want to be entertained.! it is certainly a "C" list movie but the plot, the premise, and the feel of the movie is done well. plus can see governments trying to get away with doing things just like this.... if you go into it with high expectations, or like to over think movies. then you will not enjoy it. plus it has a great song from Frankie Goes To Hollywood in it! if your looking for some world doom action, this is one for you.
