Absolutely loved this movie. I just finished watching the show Heeramandi and then started watching this movie. After the herrendous performance of Sharmin (alamzeb) from Heeramandi I could remember how people used to say Katrina can't act.. Katrina was bad in Rajneeti etc. I guess bad actresses like Katrina can still act circles around mediocre acting of today's actresses. I never thought she was bad at acting, and I hope after watching Merry Christmas people would believe that she is great. The great chemistry they built, you would end up being sad for their love at the end... Kudos Katrina, Vijay for your amazing performance. Even Kapoor was good! The movie maker was amazing!! Great job. What a delight.

This movie was so bad that I got a headache after watching this movie. The acting of the main lead female was terrible. Even Lara Dutta was cringe worthy. I cannot understand how Akshay Kumar would agree to do this movie. There was even a scene where cows are talking, it was meant to be a funny scene - but it was sooo bad. Overall, the movie was just terrible. I was watching this movie with family so I could not just switch to a different thing, so I literally had to bite my teeth and watch the whole thing. When I got the chance to skip the songs, I tactfully skipped some scenes right after the songs so I had to watch less of the film. But even then, I watched enough. It felt like I was in detention. I got anxiety after this film. Please stop making films like this. Okay bye.

Lovebirds was a very refreshing movie! The acting, comedy, the relationship portrayed by the couple - was perfect. Most movies showcase the love and chemistry between couples who are getting together, in the chase and initial phase - I think I’ve finally seen a movie where they portray the strong and powerful love between a long term couple. The story was also good! It was like hangover. I’m disappointed why this movie isn’t making raves like that movie. This deserves more fame and attention!
