This is going to be my first movie review. I generally do not give reviews just rate movies but this movie was exceptional so here I am. The movie starts with the main character Billy Moore, he shown in ring fighting (Mua Thai). Than the character is taken to prison, the life in prison is shown in such a way that I felt I was in the prison. When the boxer gets cigarettes I felt relived, similarly all the ring action comes as real as it can. But the film is not only about and Billy Moore's life in prison or his boxing skills. Its a experiential movie, might feel uncomfortable watching few scenes though.
Another aspect about 'Prayer before Dawn' is the language is kept native without English subtitle. At first I felt like I will not understand the movie but it has been done for purpose and I get to know and understand everything as movie progresses. The gestures, emotions and acting of the actors were top notch.
