2023 update: Uninstalled the game after selling a recoloured skin for $200. Absolute money-grabbing pigs.
League of Legends has the potential to be a fantastic game, but Riot neglect to neglect it. Three main points as to why League deserves zero stars.
1: Bad punishment system that does little/nothing to contribute to a better community: The crux of a punishment system is to punish players who consistently break the rules, but it's either poorly enforced, or Riot receive punishment requests and don't act on them. While you could make the point that League has millions of players, Riot is also a multi-million dollar company who turn huge profits every year. Surely, they could have a team which deals with this.
2. Toxic community: League is a very toxic game. Funnily enough, the punishment system doesn't cover people being toxic toward each other. If Riot had the goal of creating an inclusive game, League would 100% miss the mark.
3. An all-round broken game, with forgotten champions: It's no secret that, when developers release new champions, some get forgotten. For example, when Riot release Gwen (the 155th champion), there's no doubt that a champion, such as Orrn, will get forgotten. It would be nice for the developers to remember the original champions without putting all their effort into new champions.
League *could* be a fantastic game. But they miss the mark in so many places.
