The developers continue to refuse to return to the old framework for these games that fans worldwide loved and renowned. They're highly tone-deaf, and ignorant of what fans loved about the once amazing series. XP is gone...unique partners are gone...a fun, strategic battle system is gone. Paper Mario is a shell of what it once was, but now with obnoxious, excessive paper theming....yayyyy.
Anyway if you love it, great! But I don't. I miss PM64 and TTYD. Go play those instead. Oh wait, Nintendo refuses to make them available and hides them away. Fantastic.
