I really enjoyed this cartoon, all 10 seasons of it, plus the Distant Lands specials. It was a well-animated, brightly-colored cartoon, whose dark plots contrast with the characters' cutesy animations. My favorite character is the shapeshifting yellow bulldog, Jake the Dog (voiced by John DiMaggio in a cuddlier version of his "Bender voice" from Futurama), and my favorite princess from the show is Princess Bubblegum of the Candy Kingdom (voiced by Hynden Walch, who also voiced Penny Sanchez on ChalkZone). I enjoyed the sibling dynamic between Jake and his adopted human brother, Finn, as well as their trip to the islands, to find Finn's mother and the other remaining humans on the post-apocalyptic Earth. The best way to describe this show: a four-way collision between Mad Max, The Legend of Zelda, Dungeons & Dragons and Candyland.
