Terrazas Victim

I enjoyed this movie a lot. Was very funny.

Not even sure I want to finish it. It’s just boring and I’m an hour and half in.

I didn’t think HBO could do worse than Industry, but this new Gossip Girl is wasaaaay worse. The storyline is just plain stupid and the dialogue was lazily written.

If they replaced the sex scenes with discussions of actual trades, the show would be good. But I don’t find this to be an “accurate depiction” as stated in many other reviews. The show had potential but lacked the depth and technical discussions that make trading/investment shows truly great. Overall the storyline and production were shallow and lazy, choosing sex scenes as filler for any depth that the show writers were too lazy to think up. Trash TV better suited for a porn channel. *And of particular note, Harper would never land the job or be this close to clients at this stage in her career in real life. Like, have any of the writers worked a day in investment banking?! What a joke. Waste of talent and money.

This was just a waste of two hours I’ll never get back. Very bad movie
