This movie has got everything. The plot is exceptional and the action is riveting. Must watch.

The pace is unnecessarily and annoyingly slow. It's not a masterpiece, not by a long shot. That's all I want to say.

My all-time favorite movie is Forrest Gump. I'd pay to watch Tom Hanks anytime. When the movie began, I thought to myself - a grumpy old man story, boring. Has Hanks sunk so low to star in this! But how wrong was I because as the story unfolds, all of our human emotions, struggles and foibles are experienced by the audience. The ending is rather expected but still a great movie for me. I enjoyed every bit of it after the first ten minutes.

Spoiler alert. Stop here. Leave now. I love the part where she bites off his manhood. LoL

A very well-crafted mystery series with plenty of suspense and unexpected turns. There are a few murders in the vein or fashion of a Poirot murder-detective movie. I especially love the landscape of ice, wind and snow. Great acting by all the characters stuck in the futuristic hotel in Iceland.

I honestly think it's an excellent production and give my own take without having read any other reviews. Once I started, I couldn't stop. I even got up in the middle of the night once to watch. I'm totally mesmerized by the plot and the deliberate language. I'm a fan, absolutely! All the actors were superb from Pip to Magwitch, Jaggers to Havisham and Estella to Joe.

From the get go, the tension between the Captain and his XO is evident. It all comes to a head when Washington has to relieve Hackman of his post. This is intriguing because both sides are correct and both are wrong as well. It's hard to decide who's right. Now if you think a movie on board a submarine is totally boring, this movie will change your mind. Great acting from all the cast.

An all-star cast. The horrors and absurdity of war is what struck me as I watched this movie for the first time in 2023. Young men who barely lived, never fell in love, got married or raised a family died for nothing. Friends getting blown up, limbs lost and blood oozing out of the wounds. Trying to capture a ridge where they got mowed down like grass. It's meaningless and absolutely insane.

I was on Netflix wondering what my next movie would be. And chanced upon this. Never watched it before and vaguely remember Madison County. After only 10-15 minutes I knew it was going to be a winner. They don't make movies like this anymore. And you can't go wrong with Clint Eastwood and Meryl Streep as the leads. I know I'm going to enjoy every minute of the show. Never reviewed a movie without watching it first.

Never watched it until now. And must say I enjoyed it. The pioneering spirit, sacrificing everything and suffering any thing just to forge a future and destiny. The finale is great, Joseph learnt something from his old dad LOL
