Whenever someone talks about the Assassin's Creed series, someone always says something along the lines of "Unity was really bad." Nothing could be farther from the truth. Assassin's Creed Unity did experience some fairly bad bugs upon launch, but nothing nearly as bad as Fallout 76 or Cyberpunk, as I never experienced any of Unity's bugs. The mechanics are the best of any Assassin's Creed game where you played as actual assassin's, as everything was retooled following the very underwhelming Syndicate. Unity let you upgrade your hidden blade into the phantom blade, enabling you to fire silent shots to take out enemies. Unity is also the first game in the series to make the protagonist more complex in his emotions, as he was an assassin who was deeply in love with a Templar. Personally I would've loved to have seen a direct sequel to Unity.
