Sayonara Lyman

Phenomenal acting and storyline. It explores social issues from multiple angles and doesn't try to create the typical narrative of good vs bad, and the consequences of each. Rather, it portrays complex human behavior that is uncomfortable for many who tend to assign blame while doing the exact same for which they condemn.

I only started watching because of the good reviews. Wasn't too impressed in the beginning, but it picked up beautifully. The character development is extremely well done, the story progresses at a pace that keeps you engaged. It's a refreshing take on the theme, which could've gone cheesy and bland, but it consistently adds depth to the characters with each episode, making them relatable. I highly recommend it!

It's a first seat window into the experience PTSD sufferers endure. Extremely well done, and acted. The "haunting" and the ghosts were terrifyingly evocative.

Would it kill the producers of this movie to add a little suspense? The music is the same from beginning to end! There is no transition from drama scenes to filler scenes, to crucial scenes...it's all the same. Good story that could've been told in a much more appealing way.
