The red book is great for beginning coin collectors and experienced numismatist's alike it shows history of coins along with mintage numbers and asking price for coins I highly recommend the book for any body who enjoys coin collecting , whenever you are going to a coin show this book is helpful with researching coins on the spot. The book also has an affordable price that you will be able to look back to for info for the rest of your life and with a new book every year the red book is constantly improving and with seventy five years of experience the book is sure not to disappoint you (the red book does not provide any information on bills and is mainly united states coins so if you are looking for information on these things you should check out a different reference book) I think this book is by far the best I have used in learning about u.s. coins
