These thoughts are for the steam version of the game.
This game is the best city builder you can get to date. The amount of freedom you have to create a city is incredible. The simulation of the cims and traffic are pretty good, although traffic pathfinding is not perfect. They are constantly adding new content to it, and with the steam workshop, you can get mods, maps, buildings, vehicles, road types, and more. There are 178,995 items on the work shop at the time of writing. You can zone districts with many types of policies, like having upper class people in one area of the city, or have a eco friendly section, or a low education zone that go right to work, or no thru traffic zones, or electric car only zones or some combination of these and many others.
The only part I feel is missing, is what older sim city games did and allowed multiple cities to be linked up off the edges of the map. The game already has traffic and goods demand from outside your city but its arbituary.
