It’s hard to believe that since I’m a big movie viewer that I missed this film. That said, choosing the video today was a treat. I was enchanted, laughed out loud and grateful to watch this film, so full of innocence, caring and hope.

I’m a consummate fan of Masterpiece Theatre. I tried to embrace this story but could not. I removed it from my record set. I guess I have little tolerance for two adults who no matter what their personal history, choose to abandon others, those who have come forward in trust and love.

Oh, yes, so agree with DThomas! My hubby and I tried to give ND a chance but have removed it from our recorded programs. Ugh - first “bedroom” scene was a glimpse of future themes, not attractive or smart. We hoped for a savvy detective a la Veronica Mars -or- we’d even take the latest Charlie’s Angels. By, By Nancy.
