It definitely lack the spirit of the first 2 conjuring movies. You can almost consider it forgettable if not for the warren couple's deep impression in the early conjuring movies.
"Devil Made Me Do It" lost the quality you are expecting, such as the slow burn chilling vibe you get from the first 2.
As a fan of horror movies, I wish James Wan had never let this one go.
