Fauda is an extremely well written near to life action drama set in the tragic Israeli/Palestinian conflict of the Middle East. There are absolutely no wooden scarecrow cartoon characters in these heartfelt tragic tales. You feel a shared humanity rarely seen in big budget Hollywood extravaganzas with much sound and fury signifying nothing. These stories mean something. Something eternal we can all take heed of. The cycles of revenge can consume us. consume

Give me a break! You can't take a movie like this seriously. It's cheesy fun like Dirty Grandpa or Ted just horny naughty slap stick fun. Lighten up.

Extraordinary!! At a time when good cinema is getting harder to find a return to The Return won't disappoint the discriminating cinephile or DC comic toady. Stunning.

This story drags in the beginning but then soars, it's worth the small wait. Heartfelt and charming by the script writer of the epic Patriot tv series.

Like Breaking Bad's Eisenberg the characters of Patriot may stretch your empathy tendons to the snapping point but stand by, there are no straw men in this noir comic drama; a long slow ride on the Kraken you won't be able to get off this thank god antidote to Disney ride.
