This is a story for people who keep tallies of bodies at the end of each chapter. It is not a story for people who can think for themselves or require a plot to be reasonable. It is faithful to the Dystopian world view of the author in that there are no protagonists only antagonists.

John Denver's The Christmas Gift is one of the films I try to watch each Christmas season. It is simply filmed with great Colorado scenery and low-keyed actors that keep true to the story of the changes that can come in a town about to be overrun with the commercial excess that is the Christmas season.
