They've tried their best to not make people who aren't aware of homosexuality feel "awkward" or "weird" by overdoing stuff (ik there's no reason to feel that way but this is India y'all). It is something to consider because in India, many people would choose not to go because they're "scared" or "weirded out" BUT the movie is so heartwarming that I'm sure many Indians who are not aware of homosexuality or have negative views about gay people WILL DEFINITELY think twice or open up their mind a little bit.
Not only are they trying to talk about something that is still considered taboo here, but they're also successfully showing it in a very funny way. They didn't just make it full of jokes, they also mentioned facts and important stuff about homosexuality and article 377 so that people who are unaware get to know real stuff. LOVED IT.
