All in all I enjoy the show. However, as someone who knows more than 1 person, male and female, who are living with HIV, they really need to stop their awful portrayal of people living with the virus. Every time the topic is brought into the show, it’s always some evil, sociopathic villain who’s trying to infect everyone they possibly can. In reality, the overwhelming majority of HIV patients are responsible, honest and cautious. Or worse, the show outright misleads viewers. In one episode a character said to another, it’s still possible to transmit the virus with an undetectable viral load. The CDC has stated that is simply not true. All I’m saying is people living with HIV face enough adversity. Don’t feed the ignorance.
