Definitely worth being the successor to the first game. The game feels and is exhausting long at times. I clocked nearly 40 hrs of play time, mostly because I tried to search every corner and collect all the salvage and find every collectible available. Needles to say the first few hours in the beginning the game has a slow pace, but that only accounts for like 10% of the play-through, then it gets going and never loses momentum, switching between action and story telling sequences. Yup, the story is amazing and disturbing at the same time. The graphics, visual art, scenery is astonishing, yet it makes you feel right at home and is beautiful extension of the first game. Something you'd expect from the developer. There isn't so much focus on the fighting with the clickers and combat feels somewhat less challenging compared to the first game. Fighting human enemies is more prevalent here, yet there are more types of fungi-mutated enemies than before. Overall this a game stands tall as a gem for the current console generation and I dare to say it will be remembered much the same as the first part which was one of the flagship titles for PS3 and later on PS4. There is a lot to be had with your money here.

Great storytelling combined with amazing game-play where you can choose between, stealth, tactical approach or kind of a run and gun. Rich environments and great atmosphere.

Spoiler alert: the ending disappointed me to be honest, although there were some indications, that this might happened, it still felt kind of rushed and didn't flow nicely with the rest of the story. Loved the setting and the smooth story telling, the first 3/4 of the movie were really strong, the ending not so much for me.

The nostalgia factor plays a big role here, so if you're watching as a fan of the original That 70's show you can add plus one star for that nostalgia factor. Otherwise the show, doesn't utilize enough of the 90's besides some stereotypical references which are thrown here and there. Honestly, it could be set in any era, but it just happens to be called The 90's show. The old familiar of reoccurring characters and especially being set in what looks like the original house of the Foreman's from the original including the living room, the kitchen, basement and the front yard is mind blowing. I find myself just wondering how were they able to preserve so much of the original set pieces or they just paid great attention to details. Unfortunately that's where the awe ends, since the dialogs, screenplay, storylines and jokes are really bland with few exceptions. As I said at the beginning, the nostalgia factor holds this together, but it doesn't get out of the shadow of the original. Potential is there though.

For me the game presents one the most unique approaches to movement in a game. It's a shame that other first person games didn't implement such movement system as I consider this together with the first iteration somewhat revolutionary. Game can seem stereotypical at times, the story is ok, but the parkour style running and jumping and reaching new heights never got old for me. Therefore 5 stars.
