This is another masterpiece by Chetan Anand story of rebirth which is exists in our society. Nice songs and string storyline with superstar Rajesh Khanna Hema Malini and Vinod Khanna saheb. Rajkumar saheb and Priya Raj vansh did justice with their role.

I was 10 years old when this film was released. The film got super hit owing to its good story and songs. One of my friend,s father was working to operate projector in Sudarshan Cinema Delhi, he used to visit oftenly to watch this movie. This cinema hall keep showing Disco Dancer for 5 years. Mithun Da became star overnight after its release. It is said that after release of Disco Dancer, Mithun da visited Russia where around 10 lacs people waiting outside airport to see him. Michael Gorbacheuf president of Russia cancelled its political meeting due to Mithun da as all people left the meeting after hearing that Mithun da is arriving Russia.

I heard the song bin tere sanam frequently on FM , was not aware it was picturized on Aasif in Yaara Dildara. The film is not available on Amazon and flipkart. Anyone having information of availability of this film please post here. Old memory of 90s.

I watch this film in 2012 at the age of 38 along with my family. Baught cd from Palika Bazar, Delhi. Best song, cinematography, direction, strong story and lastly acting of legendary actor Dilip Kumar, Vayjanti Mala and Pran. It was a paranormal film. I have never seen film like this. I saw this film 4_5 times as and I get time. I recommend u to see this film once. It was directed by late Vimal Roy.

I watched this film when it was released. All the actors given their best performance especially Irfan Khan who played role of Pan Singh. I think it is best than Sholay in terms of dacoit role played by Irfan with Azad Khan. Definately Hats off movie.

I was eleven years old when this film was released, saw it with family in Delhi's Savitri Cinema. It is an inspirational film. How family ties are shattered, how sons forget their parents in old age, it has been shown in the film. Rajesh Khanna ji's best acting is in the film. Also Shabana Azmi, AK Hangal, Sachin and other actors like Sujit Kumar have given excellent performances in the film. Have seen this film many times, it is a very emotional film, the young generation must see it.

I saw this film in 1985 when I was 10–11 years old. The film and Rakhi also received a national award for the heartwarming story and Rakhi's excellent performance. Parikshit Sahni was also entitled to the award. Today's generation must see this film.

I had seen this film on Netflix, believe me it is a very good film. Tears could not be stopped in the last 30 minutes of the film. After Mere Duje Ke lite and Aashiqui it was 3rd film I liked.

I was 18 years old when this film was released . I saw this film in Sapna cinema, Delhi , more than 5000 people waiting out side cinema hall for their turn. The film was very successful due to its true love story and melodious songs. Rahul Roy and Anu Aggarwal actors of film became superstar after release of this film, however they could not maintain the stardom.
