NON-SPOILER REVIEW
As the makers of the game stated in a lot of interviews prior to the release, this game is a very divisive game. It is not your typical hero saves the day game like the Uncharted series or a gangster/outlaw game like GTA or Red Dead Redemption. This game is a complex and brutally disturbing one. It is very gutsy that Naughty Dog decided to take their game in this direction. The world of TLOU and TLOU2 is brutal ,dark and challenging. There are no heroes or villains in this world, just people doing everything in their power to keep themselves and their loved ones alive. This game delves into the concept of perspectives, asks you questions about morality and messes with your head.
I am no critic to call the game a Game of The Generation. Neither am I a dumb hater to just give the game a blind 0/10 without playing it for myself.
The game is a technical marvel. Graphics look stunning. It is surprising that a 7 year old console is able to run it. The audio effect in this game are next level. The story is breathtaking and surprising. It makes the player think a lot about the morality of the actions of each character. A bit laggy at repetitive towards the end. But surely one of the best games I have ever played. A roller-coaster of emotions.
Play for yourselves and decide. And please, definitely don't trust the user review bombing that is going on. The first game has 9000 reviews in its entire lifetime and the second game has close to a 100k reviews within a week of its release with people who have not even played the game or don't even know what it's about rating the game.
