The first half hour was brutal.....I almost switched off as I found it too much, nevertheless I kept watching and really enjoyed the movie (still found it very confronting). The sad part is it depicted a story that was certainly so close or most definitely reality back in 1788 (or there abouts) in Australia that pulls on my heartstrings. If you can sit through the first half hour I believe you'll enjoy the rest of the movie and be cheering Clare on every step of the way.

Absolutely loved it. One of them best movie I've seen in a long while. Kept me entertained the whole way through. And a true story, which makes it even better 👍. I saw a few low reviews...... those reviews I simply don't understand. It was funny, eventful, made me smile and laugh a lot (especially the grandma) sad, I had tears..... what more could you possibly want in a movie. Huge thumbs up.

Really liked this movie. It had a touch of everything. It had me both laughing and crying. The scene with the Tsunami at the start made me feel like I was there. And to be honest it gives hope! I enjoyed it and actually wished it went longer. There are parts in French that are subtitled but only about 1/4 of the film. Big thumbs up from me.

This movie was ridiculous. It was not entertaining, cringe worthy acting, and a terribly unbelievable storyline. The ending was worse than the start. There must have been at least 5000 shots fired, almost at point blank with only a handful of people killed...... that will give you an insight to the stupidness of the movie. Do yourself a favor..... give it a miss!
