This film has a realism of being shot by the Norwegians, spoken in their language. You feel the Anti-Nazi resistance that was deep into the society, all the way down to the Sami native reindeer herders. This film is not for those who haven't read, felt, or being oppressed by the occupation of a foreign military, The Nazis. The black/white and muted colors of the film lend more realism to the times, the cold, the fight, during WWII. I'm very impressed with the acting, the array of characters and their quiet commitment to their collective support to the 12th Man. Bravo!
