The 700 club does not preach the gospel, nor do they live like the apostles did. They preach,"If you want to be rich and famous, then follow Jesus." But that's what unbelievers seek. Jesus said this in Lk. 6:20, "Blessed are the poor for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." That's why Jesus told the rich man that he could only follow him if he sold his possessions and gave to the poor. Jesus said that we can't serve both God and money. Mt. 6:24. So Pat Robertson is receiving his rewards in full on earth, especially since he announces his good deeds with trumpets which Jesus also tells us not to do in Mt. 6:1-4.
