I have a friend who was there at the same time. He verified much of what I read in the book and the book gave me a better understanding of what my friend went through. Would make a great movie.

Great cynical humor, with a lot of thought provoking dialog, presented so fast that it is hard to follow. Lines are spoken too fast, as well. Beautiful presentation of California's central coast area.
