Overall: it was pretty good Things I wish happened: more detail in animation, they actually went home (it’s been over a 100 years I can understand why they didn’t but still) Things I loved: poc and lgbtq representation , For the bad reviews: a lot of reviews have an issue due too the lgbtq side of it which played an irrelevant part! Had allesha ( the woman ) married , kissed and had a baby with a man there would be no problem nor does any child have any problem with it or even understand the minor difference.

Disclaimer : SPOILERS and my emotions I love this series. It will always be special to me but this movie isn’t it. had me crying for hours, I love Toby! but I think it would have been better for my heart! Everyone’s heart- and yk them/Jim to just accept it. Jim was the best trollhunter out of all the troll hunters he helped Arcadia more then any other trollhunter. He was perfect for the role and he dominated it! He was chosen for a reason so to speak and going back in-time to change that was just straight up bs. It’s also so confusing because it felt like he was giving his role to someone else like he was “escaping it” as if Toby isnt literally his bsf. so weather Toby or he had the amulet, he would still be dragged into it. But over all, the the relationships/bonds everything just aligned perfectly it came together and formed beautifully in my eyes. And that was all erased in a matter of seconds which did a number on me. Different type of level of pain and disappointment (oh and I love preg Steve storyline)

The plot is good but the Christian thing hit a nerve first she talks about god and they call her a Jesus freak- but then she defends her faith and ofc they go all mad on her but then they continuously try to make her do un holy things or convict her Like Drinking , taking edibles and of course she goes for it idk to fit in or something not saying nobody falls for temptation or anything but I think it’s really disrespectful
