I cannot get over how overly melodramatic this show is. It's as if these coppers are completely oblivious to what profession they're in. The lead detective--DCI Stuart--routinely cries over cases and goes on these long, sad sack monologues to her team and always speaks like she's about to cry. I'm now updating this review to 1-star since in the final interview with the admitted serial killer, DCI Stuart literally cries while interviewing him and can't continue...??? It is so wildly unprofessional and a bizarre direction choice, ruins the entire show for me.
