Starring Toni Collette and Damian Lewis, this is the story of a crest-fallen, down-on-their‐luck group of Welsh townsfolk who decide collectively to take their chances on an unborn race horse. And the rest, as they say, is history-- a true one. It is also the story of second chances, something we can all appreciate. I won't say any more to risk spoiling it, but grab some popcorn, maybe some kleenex, and get ready to feel warm inside. I loved it, right through to all the photos at the end of the "real people" today. Not great cinema, but a great reminder of the wonder of animals and of hope in humanity.
