I don’t understand why people are so down on this movie? I watched it last night and thought it was very well done. It is much better than a lot of movies out there including one big “blockbuster” that recently came out. Cinematography was fantastic. Characters were Interesting. Acting was great. The catch at the end was predictable but in a good way. I haven’t read the book and I guessed it about half way through. But was satisfying to know I was right at the end. When I woke up this morning my first thought was, is there a sequel to the book? I would love to see what happens to the some of the characters long term. Not sure if that is good or bad? Overall I liked the movie. Would I watch it on repeat for next 10 years? No. Is it as good as others? No. Is it better than the ratings? Yes. Is it being reviewed well? No. It was good to watch on a nice slow evening. I would recommend.
