This book was very boring and shallow. It had terrible pacing and had POV changes every chapter, making it hard to follow. Additionally, there was no suspense whatsoever. There was nothing of this book to make me want to turn the pages. I usually love all genres of stories and I read all kinds of books, but this romance novels just wasn't my type of food. I would recommend this to no one. The beginning is so boring.

I totes love this booK! I love Ramona! She's so fun and sweet. In the third grade I read this and it totally connected to MY OWN thoughts! There's so many fun and cool adventures Ramona goes through in third grade, and of course she does some stupid things because third graders sometimes do stupid things. Besides that, there's packed with external conflict of Ramona's family and school. I love every page. So real and touching and funny and moving.

Touching and heartbreaking and filled with hope. I love how it taught me about people with disabilities (synesthesia) so it obviously got the ALA Sneider family Book Award cuz it had synesthete as the protagonist, however the writing style is a bit childish. Mary Downing Hahn writes even more childish. But the book was in general so amazing with so much conflict and realism.

Interesting book about a dauntless yet fearful girl saving her home...

So much suspense, so creative. I like this dystopian book. Lots of romance and betrayal. The middle was a bit boring but it quickly got fun to read again. So much stuff happens in this book and people who love harry Potter might like this too.

Uhhh no, this book is absoutely terrible. The author is write's shallow to the point where all the characters she creates are so rude and mean and she makes it seem like that's all people do in life. There's no suspense and I was sick of reading the pointless things that happened in the book. The main character has nasty thoughts and it is Not scary at all. The author even tried to make this book "scary" but it didn't work. So many plot holes and uneven pace. This book is very bad has barely a resolution, and it doesn't even make sense that some things happen so ironically. Don't waste time to read it.

Oh man, it was so amazingly ironic! So many things that don't make sense, but it's in a good way! I love the end! So creative! It has all the things that could happen in a hole digging camp for bad boys, and so many surprising scenes. I LOVE the writing style too. It's definitely my type of book. There's amazing adventures as they keep digging holes and living life like criminals in punishment, and there's a mystery solved at the end. Thanks to Louis Sachar for this great book.

Jessie is narcissistic, mean, and greedy, but I loved the war. They did mean things and is was quite a competioion. Very intense but dramatic :)

It was way too boring and had barely any conflict. It was not a good book. The ending was slow paced. This barely opened my eyes and also wasn't very emotional, not realistic. I like the idea of a kid trying to climb mount everest, but it's just a bad book - period. However, I liked the dangerous things that Mark did on his way, and things that happened to him that nearly killed him. The beginning half was so good, as Mark has ti try to survive, as he stays true to himself and believes in himself - the book is so good at the beginning but I couldn't help but snore through reading the latter end and it had barely suspense.

It was so realistic to what a six year-old kid would think and act. When I was younger I read these and it was so realistic to my thoughts! I made so many connections, and I was like Junie B Jones back then. Packed with humor and adventures, this book is definitely good for little kids, or adults!
