The series is watchable if you’re into sci-fi, but is really generic (unlike the source material, the books are really awesome). Other than the (mostly) good production value, there’s not much there; the casting choices (with the exception of Lee Pace) and the changes to the books are really disappointing.

It was an OK movie. Fun and pretty to look at, but lacking in substance and the premise of Raya's power is a bit naive, and don't get me started on the ending or the traitorous girl's "redemption"
