What a disappointment. I grew up watching the original when I was in elementary school. I was excited when they announced a sequel, but I legitimately turned it off after about 15 minutes in. It's one of those generic millennial movies with smartphones, drinking/partying, etc. The acting is also abysmal -- Disney should have taken the reigns instead of FreeForm. I honestly hope enough negative reviews will cause the movie to be removed and eventually replaced with the sequel the original deserves.
