Boring yet the magic makes it intriguing. The music and dancing is "okay." The plot is flat. Cats attend a talent show once year to be chosen to go to heaven / ritual suicide. Songs are used to introduce a new cat and all songs but 1 lacks any emotion to leave a lasting impression. Not a film to brag money was spent to watch it. It wasnt the best adaptation from Broadway to screen. Definitely see it to form your own opinion.
