I have known Danielle Steel books but never read it before. I just happened to read The House,and found it to be an amazing story. I could not resist myself and bought another book ‘The Duchess’. To be very sincere, I have read many fiction books but this story is something which I will never forget in my life. The author has made every possible effort in the research and description made more alluring. The history ,the law, the harshness and cruelty in society always remain the same especially when this comes for female gender. Angelique the main characters of the novel is strong, delicate smart creative and engaging. No matter how much hatred she bears from her brother took the life life successfully rendered her by her own brother , then Setting a “Brothal”naming the house Le Boudoir all for politicians and aristocratic, to enjoy whereas her motives were to leave a plain life and growing her fortune future. Things don’t remain same end is definitely decided hence once again she’s homeless and her journey opened new doors for her life which was again short and happy for her. In contrast to the two books I read one is more modern whereas the other is more historical. But both stories suggest one do acquire a good time and fortune when you are good at heart and it is always advisable to use ones brain and money judicially to get going no matter how many hardships , challenges and happy time come. There was no point where being a woman I felt a woman or girl could be helpless unless wise to make a good decision.
