Amazingly well portrayed film. Grief at its acutest; painful watching for anyone who has gone through similar scenarios in their life, possibly not so much for those who have not. Timothy Spall is just perfect in the role of Tom, acting at its best. if you do have any unresolved grief, bereavement of partner and /or child loss, then be prepared for an emotional rollercoaster and have plenty of tissues to hand (and maybe a stiff drink) whilst watching.
