The movie with the biggest star cast among the Rohit Shetty cop universe movies is unfortunately the least satisfying. Unnecessary incorporation of Ramayana into each and every scene stems the flow of the screen play. The story itself is nothing to rave about.
Deepika Padukone's Shakti Shetty who proclaims herself as lady Singham is nothing more than an extended cameo. Most of her scenes are there in the trailer itself.
Arjun Kapoor's shines as the antagonist and shows his under utilised acting chops.
Even though the movie is about happenings in Singham's life it's Ranveer Singh's Simba which is the life of the movie.
What's good - Performances, Dialogues, BGM&Action
What's not good - Screenplay and Story
Verdict - You can watch if you are a fan of the franchise or of bollywood action films in general.

It offers what you expect. Lots of action, a bit of Dance, music and comedy.
It's a visual spectacle which could have been made in 3D.
Even though it's almost 3 hours long the story moves on fast and does not bore you .
One time watch. Best experienced n theatres.
Don't expect logic or master story telling or film making.

Stretching the screenplay (Could have been 10-15 minutes shorter)
Conclusion -The first installment was better. The prospect laid down for a possible 3rd part is not good. But if they do cash in on the success of the franchise then at least name it S3 😀
