This is a James Bond movie in name only. I can't imagine what Ian Fleming would think. Overall it is an enjoyable movie if you don't look at it as part of the Bond franchise. Gone are the days of over-the-top gadgets, an unforgettable Bond girl, and puns dotting the script. Even the villain here doesn't seem as Bond-ish as those in the past. So, while a fun 2.5 hours, it ranks pretty low in my ranking of Bond films. In short, if you want some good action scenes, its good. If you want Bond as Bond was meant to be, this isn't it.
