In 1977 I was a six-year-old sitting in a movie theater and watch the movie Star Wars A New Hope. I was Blown away! I had watched Star Trek I had watched other Sci-fi movies and TV shows of the past and they were not even close to what Star Wars had done. I couldn’t wait to play and pretend to be Luke Skywalker or Han Solo or even Darth Vader. Many people want to pan some of the movies? “Opinions “Why don’t you create a universe and a story that has as much as Star Wars has in it. I look at it as a wonderful sci-fi novel. I agree that some chapters are better than others but if you pay attention and you’ve been watching it for 44 years like I have it’s not only inspirational and powerful it takes my mind off of things that sometimes get in the way from all the stuff in our lives. The movies and shows take me away to another world and I enjoy it. Star Wars personally brings me joy. Other people can choose to be unhappy with it and that’s what it is all about in my opinion it’s a choice. It seems critics and other people who think they can do a better movie than George Lucas and other incredible people think they can do a better job. Really think about trying to entertain a 6 year-old to a 96 year-old good luck. Please if you can make a entertaining movie or tell a great story as well as Star Wars I will be go and see it and I will enjoy it or I won’t because it’s just a choice. I would say who doesn’t want to go to a movie and like it. After all I like to be entertained and Star Wars has always be entertaining to me personally.
