It's a brilliant and vibrant world, with all the influences of Fallout, Borderlands and Prey from my point of view.
The quests are interesting and I am drawn into the dialogue instead of skipping through the most part. I think this is where The Outer Worlds supercedes Fallout in my opinion, as a lot of quests in Fallout fall short of interesting due to clumsy interactions and choices that deem unclear.
Outer Worlds present choices that are clear, familiar and earth-like, even though you are on another planet.
It doesnt have the same impact and originality as Fallout, with Outer Worlds less buggy and smoother ride overall, it was that stigma that Fallout couldn't shake that gave it it's charm in disposition.
Enemies are still daft as a brush, and they can either see you from a mile away or you have to step on thier toes from them to notice you.
In any regard, it's still one of the best RPGs to date, and if you are looking for a smoother, more colourful Fallout-esque ride, look no further.
