Loved this very special movie and story.. Especially poignant for those of us who love our dogs and cats. Delightful for those of us who have ancestry from Abruzzi, Italy!. Also for those of us who have lost our loves before we got married. I could watch this movie many times.

I liked this touching movie, a story on the tragedies and triumph of life's hardship. The acting was very good. Ethiopian actors and actresses would have been more authentic.. The one drawback is the telling of the revolution. For those who know nothing about Ethiopia and Haile Selassie, it was painful to bring out the negative without in some way bringing out the many accomplishments and good that was done under his guidance.

Courage, Integrity, Friendship, Loyalty.and Tragedy..depicted with suburb acting. Stands the test of time of a great movie.

Television viewing at its best....Being half Italian.. I love hearing the language ( needing to read subtitles). The characters are realistic and well acted...I have all 4 books...so I am truly looking forward to this. Thank you HBO..

Great movie...about an attorney with integrity.... Maybe this should be required for future law students? Very good acting .
