Happy Harry – Google

As much as I would love to hit the 5 button I just couldn't do it. Big fan of the BBC Detective collections, Hidden for me fell short. Excellent points were, the locations, acting, and two of the story lines. How can you not love the Welsh towns and the so real houses, factories, stores, garages! Wants you to get on a plane and visit immediately. Some of the best drama acting I have ever seen. I really enjoyed Season one and two. Season two can have you wanting to jump through your TV after the bad people. Did not care as much for Season three subject matter. My major area of frustration was with DI Cadi! There was no fire in her! Preoccupied through all 3 seasons. Smoking and off in a daze? Sitting across from a murder, she smiles, grins, goes out for a cigarette? Over and over again! Too many side plots, taking you away from "the hunt"! Somebody just gets killed and instead of badges and guns, you are taken off to a event, or another emotional issue that developed down the road? Maybe I'm just too used to the Harry Bosch type "go get them" series. Don't get me wrong, I also can see why some hit the 5 Stars, I just couldn't do it.

It pains me to hit a one star button for Lucky Hank. I'm a big fan of Bob Odenkirk, loved him in BBad, and Saul. Just watched episode 5 and I honestly thought it was the daily news. Don't get me wrong, the subject matter is real and for sure needs as much attention as it can get. But there is a time and place for everything and I didn't expect to see in Lucky Hank. I'm sticking with it and hoping Hank gets the Luck he deserves.

To be clear that is a negative one Star. Just when I thought that the sewage that comes across our screens in the pretense of our Nightly News could be the worst thing you could watch today along comes Tin Star! aka Tin Can! What a collection of misfits. They wasted a lot of film by not just putting the entire cast in a circle in episode one and just gun them down. Shame on Alberta, such a beautiful country that is surly Gods country to be stained by an excuse for a Series. No disrespect to those who might have enjoyed this production, a review is just an opinion and we all know everyone has one. But a warning to those who turn this one on. If by any chance you are feeling down or may be a little depressed, rest assured Tin Star will take you over the edge for sure!

Sam's Club sells tissues by the case and I would recommend buying one before you watch Rectify! Powerful to say the least. Some of us can place a wood frame on our kitchen table and look through it and watch our own lives exhibiting what you will see here. Very sad but true. This Series will take you to some very dark places. It can really tear into your inner soul. Don't get me wrong, that is a compliment to the unbelievable acting and writing that exists here. Characters are tested during the most stressful times of ones life. Some handle them well, some are left on a diving board of a waterless pool. As some may believe that what happened to Daniel is rare unfortunately the truth is it is more common than you want to believe. Justice often is not found in law books but bank accounts instead! There were times I wanted to jump through my TV screen and set things straight. Caring so much for Daniel can get addictive. Highly recommend it! It will stay with you for years to come.

As much as I loved the first 5 seasons I can't give the big 5 for season 6. Might be because I just finished Ozark where you are hanging on every scene. What bothers me about Season 6 is you can tell the writers are struggling with new material. It's hard to get excited about petty internal office squabbles. And too many Season 5 carry over cases to wrap up. It's just too many " fill ins " to complete another Season. Don't get wrong I am still a big fan with some great characters and acting talent but the writers in my opinion dropped the ball here.

I totally agree with Alphonse! Excellent series! Fresh off of Narcos and El Chapo the old Cartel team is back in action. Temperature turned down a bit from the territory killings but a story line that will keep you glued to your set. I lived in a area that had similar characters and the acting and cast selection is superb. You will quickly fall in love with some of the locals and there are enough bad guys to hate. Order plenty of popcorn you won't want to miss a minute of this show. Just finished Season 3! I lost count of the dictionaries that I went through to find words that would describe Ozark. The best compliment any Series, movie or TV show is putting real and I mean real life on a screen in front of your eyes. Real life deals with every human emotion that we were born with and to see it as it is in every minute of this Series is unbelievable. The writing, acting, story line will take you on a roller coaster ride that you will never forget. This Series will go down in film history as one of the best ever made. Might not be everyone's taste but if you like suspense then hang on, you'll never forget it.
