I like this film BUT....I feel it is mostly setting up the next film and establishing character arcs rather than standing on its own. It should have been longer so that there was time to develop various plot lines - characters like Queenie change so drastically it is not believable and this leaves die-hard fans longing for more valid relationships like that they got in the HP series. Things like McGonagall appearing screw up previously set time-lines and make it hard to swallow and follow. HOWEVER - the effects are great and what IS there leads me to believe the next instalment will provide more depth and development...I did leave the theater disappointed and didn't rush out to buy the disc when it was released, but I am not saying more as I await the next film to see how it develops.
