It could be said that this movie is a classic alternate reality version of how things would have gone if clark kent i.e Superman would have either found by wrong people or would have given himself to the desire of power and its potential. Good movie but still lacks an ending touch. Either a postive end or was twisty end plot was required. With the mother dead, no one knows that brandon can be hurt by spaceship material. That makes it difficult to counter brandon's power in the sequels, if he chooses to stay this way or doesn't have a change of heart somehow.
