By far, one of the best depictions of a Charles Dickens classic! Albert Finney, at 34, far outdid his talents in this wonderful musical. His performance deserved a special Acadamy Award. This movie (as a musical) gave us a wonderful music score, a talented cast, incredible costuming and great scenery. Dickens would have been very proud of what was done to his beloved story with this one. Sadley, Mr Finney passed this year; but, he left behind a delightful movie that will entertain many generations of viewers.
