Herodotus

A mostly accurate account of the events surrounding the 1996 disastrous descent from Everest. Some areas of the story are underscored, like the socialite who bribed the Sherpa to 'pull' her up the face, thus taking him from his important role of setting guide lines for the first groups. Her selfishness was almost put to the side. Also Beck passed on the first helicopter ride down, as someone was worse off than he (believe it or not), and he went second - they got that wrong. Acting is brilliant, music suitably atmospheric and commanding and the CGI well worked in with the live action. Brilliant direction rounds out a movie that can't be topped.

Atrocious. Poor acting, as if Sophie Turner can act anyway, and dreadful stroyline. Failed on all level.

Better than most MCU films by far.
