Honestly, I felt like this album had the potential to be their best one if only Maynard could have tried half as hard as the rest of the band members. Adam Danny, and Justin nailed their parts but all Maynard did was slap on some back ground mumbling with generic verbs here and there. It’s like being in Pucifer rubbed off too much on him and it transitioned over to his vocal style in Tool. It would’ve been understandable for maybe a few songs but the whole album was just that and it was so disappointing because you’re just waiting for that part of the song where you hear Maynard actually sing about something, anything but that didn’t happen here. If anything Adams playing did all the singing, shame on you Maynard.
