I've taught prep classes for the medical assisting certification exam using this book since the 2nd edition. It is thorough and yet condensed enough to cover the material tested over. You get an overview of the material first, and then a test follows every section. The Starting Point pre-test is an excellent measurement for determining where each student needs to focus for the sections that will be tested over. I absolutely recommend this book to prepare for the RMA or CMA.
